Registration

All presenters are required to register for the meeting by Wednesday, January 31.

Oral Abstract Information

There will be two Oral Abstract Presentation sessions and each oral abstract presenter will be assigned to one of these two sessions. When the program has been finalized, you will be notified of your session assignment.

  • Abstract Presentation 1: 10:40–11:40 am
  • Abstract Presentation 2: 3:40–4:25 pm

The total time allocated for each oral presentation, including Q&A, is 10 minutes. Please plan to have a 6-minute presentation and a 4-minute Q&A. A discussant will be assigned to each presentation to provide feedback.

Presentation files will be pre-loaded onto an ACS computer for each session to ensure a smooth transition. You will not be allowed to use your own computer for the presentation.

A PowerPoint file of your presentation must be uploaded to the following Box.com folder by Friday, March 1, 2024: Box folder for Oral Abstracts

Your email address used to submit your abstract was invited to the above-linked Box.com folder. If you use a different email address for Box.com, please contact Josh Vognsen at jvognsen@facs.org.

Presentation Requirements:

  • The file format must be PowerPoint (.pptx).
  • Do not exceed a file size of 100 MB.
  • Please name your file: Firstname_Lastname.pptx (i.e., Sue_Smith.pptx).
  • The first slide of the presentation must be a title slide specifying the title of the abstract, author(s), institutional affiliation(s), city, and country.
  • The second slide of the presentation must list author disclosures.
  • Use generic and objective terms when referring to both devices and/or proprietary technology throughout the presentation.
  • Do not include any identifiable patient health information.
  • We recommend embedding videos in a common format such as WMV.
  • We recommend using a Widescreen (16:9) PowerPoint format.

E-Poster Information

There will be one e-poster session from 2:15–3:20 pm. During this session, there will be five stations, each with a large screen for the presentations. Each presenter will be assigned to a station and given a specific time for their presentation. Each poster presentation station will have a moderator to facilitate the presentations and Q/As.

The total time allocated for each e-poster presentation is 5 minutes. Please plan to have a 3-minute presentation and a 2-minute Q&A. A discussant will be assigned to each station to facilitate questions.

  • Have one slide for each heading of your abstract. For example, if your abstract was submitted as a research abstract, you should have four slides, each for the Introduction, Method, Results, and Conclusion.
