General Steps to Accreditation
Below are the general steps to accreditation/verification for the ACS Quality Programs. Each program has unique components for the patient population they serve, therefore refer to the individual programs for specific requirements.
- Look up program eligibility
- Review standards and program resources
- Apply to begin the accreditation/verification process
- Verification of eligibility and contracting
- Complete the Pre-Review Questionnaire and prepare for site visit
- Complete site visit
- Receive Accreditation/Verification Report with the site visit outcome
