Researching for Better Outcomes
At the heart of any research program is the process of discovering new knowledge. At the ACS, it even goes beyond that. The question is, how can we apply new knowledge to improve patient outcomes? That’s why we research what is known, what is not known, and what we can develop to improve surgical care and education for the benefit of the patient.
