Improving trauma care takes collaboration across specialties, disciplines, and institutions. Explore practical ways to strengthen those connections at the 2026 ACS Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) Annual Conference, November 13–15 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.

With the theme “Collaboration: Better Together,” the conference will bring surgeons, nurses, registrars, program managers, and performance improvement professionals together to share strategies for improving patient care. Sessions will address clinical practice, trauma data, leadership, and partnerships across trauma systems.

For the first time, TQIP will offer a preconference documentary screening on Thursday, November 12, followed by a Q&A and a related general session discussion Friday. The documentary is The Chaplain & The Doctor.

Keynote speaker Louie Gravance, a customer service and culture expert with more than 25 years of experience with the Walt Disney Company, will present “Service Is Your Superpower!” on Friday, November 13. His address will explore approaches to employee engagement, accountability, and exceptional care.

On Saturday, November 14, trauma surgeon Joshua Taylor, MD, will offer a deeply personal perspective in “The Tables Have Turned: Reflections of a General/Trauma Surgeon Turned Trauma Patient.” After sustaining life-threatening injuries in a hit-and-run, Dr. Taylor experienced hospitalization, recovery, and the challenges of returning to surgical practice.

Other highlights include a stakeholder engagement session moderated by ACS Executive Director & CEO Patricia L. Turner, MD, MBA, FACS; a TQIP update moderated by ACS Medical Director of Trauma Quality Programs Avery Nathens, MD, PhD, MPH, FACS; and sessions on transfusion best practices, pediatric readiness, and hospital-based violence intervention programs. Attendees also can explore oral abstracts, more than 500 posters, and examples of successful performance improvement initiatives.

Registration includes educational sessions, networking events, and subsequent on-demand access.

Registration fees are waived for the first two employees registering from enrolled TQIP centers; a $75 administrative fee applies to all attendees. View registration details and register today.
