Surgeon Discusses Governance Framework for AI in Surgery

Clear governance frameworks are essential for the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled clinical decision support systems in surgery. Without them, healthcare organizations risk inconsistent implementation, variations in care quality, and the potential amplification of algorithmic bias.
