Registration is open to all physicians and individuals in the healthcare field and includes entrance to the exhibits and all sessions, other than Postgraduate Courses and Meet-the-Expert sessions, which are ticketed and require a fee. Please visit the Postgraduate Courses page to view the courses available and their applicable fees. Meet-the-Experts sessions require a $25 fee.
The following sessions are included with your registration for the in-person Clinical Congress and are not ticketed:
Registering for these sessions does not guarantee seating, which is provided on a first-come, first-served basis until the meeting room is full. Registering for the in-person meeting includes access to all the virtual content.
In-person attendees are able to experience the onsite program and may also register for Postgraduate Courses if availability permits. They also will have access to the livestreamed Convocation, Opening Ceremony, and Martin Memorial Lecture, as well as all on-demand recordings, which will be available within an hour after being presented.
Virtual attendees will have access to selected livestreamed and on-demand content. Please see the Interactive Program Planner for a full list of available sessions.
All attendees have the opportunity to claim more than 100 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, earn self-assessment credits, and meet other regulatory requirements through May 1, 2024.

Attendees must be a member of the American College of Surgeons at the time of registration to receive the member rate. Refunds will not be provided to those who become members after registering.

*A Retired ACS Fellow is an individual who has notified the College, meets the ACS definition of Retired, has been granted Retired status, and is officially listed in the ACS database as Retired. The ACS definition of a Retired member is a surgeon who is not in the active practice of providing surgical or nonsurgical patient care, participating in funded research, or performing compensated teaching or administrative duties. Questions about Retired member status should be directed to dues@facs.org.
**All nonmembers who pay the applicable Clinical Congress registration fees will have their membership application fees waived if they apply for American College of Surgeons membership onsite at the Clinical Congress.
†A nonmember Resident or Medical Student registering for Clinical Congress will be granted automatic membership in the American College of Surgeons. Application fees will be waived if appropriate documentation is supplied verifying Resident or Medical Student status.
***Guest registration is meant for nonmedical attendees only. All Guest registrants must be accompanied by a Clinical Congress registrant of another category. The Guest fee entitles the recipient to attend scientific sessions, view the technical and scientific exhibits, and use the shuttle bus service. Guests are not eligible to attend postgraduate courses or Meet-the-Expert sessions, nor are they eligible for CME credits or Certificates of Attendance.

Registration refunds will be issued if written requests are postmarked no later than 11:59 pm CT, Friday, September 29, 2023. A $50 handling fee will be retained for all refunds. Cancelations and registrations sent after the deadline will not be eligible for refunds. Cancelations and registrations postmarked after the deadline will not be eligible for refunds. The American College of Surgeons reserves the right to cancel any regularly scheduled session prior to the start of the meeting and will make every effort to immediately notify registrants of a cancelation.
