Save the date: April 15-18, 2023 Washington, DC
The ACS 2022 Leadership & Advocacy Summit was held as a hybrid event April 2–5 in Washington, DC. The Leadership & Advocacy Summit offers comprehensive and specialized sessions to provide ACS members, leaders, and advocates with topics focused on effective surgeon leadership, as well as interactive advocacy training and coordinated virtual visits with Congressional offices.
The Leadership Summit is open to ACS members and non-members in the United States and internationally. The Advocacy Summit is only open to U.S./domestic ACS members because the content is not applicable to international members.
The Leadership Summit offered compelling speakers addressing key topics in surgical leadership.
The Advocacy Summit highlighted several legislative priorities the College is pursuing and offered ACS members the opportunity to develop their advocacy skills, learn more about important ACS-supported legislative and health policy priorities, and engage with members of Congress and their staffs.
