Call for nominations for the Dr. Mary Edwards Walker Inspiring Women in Surgery Award is now open. The award is presented in recognition of an individual's significant contributions to the advancement of women in the field of surgery. Submit a nomination by April 30.

SHG Call for Abstracts

Surgical History Group

Now in its third year, the ACS Surgical History Group (SHG) invites surgeons, residents, Fellows, and medical students to submit abstracts for consideration in this year’s dedicated poster session at Clinical Congress 2017. Topics should be of historical significance to the field of surgery or a surgical subspecialty.
