Members of trauma care teams who are dedicated to raising the bar on quality are invited to register for the ACS Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) Annual Conference. This hybrid event, offering both in-person and virtual attendance options, will take place December 11–13 in Phoenix, AZ.
The conference brings together trauma medical directors, program managers, coordinators, principal investigator-clinicians, and registrars from participating and prospective TQIP hospitals. It provides attendees the opportunity to network with key leaders from trauma centers around the country.
This year’s conference theme is "Leadership Promoting Wellness: Taking Care of Your Team to Take Better Care of Patients." The keynote lecture will be presented by Stephen Trzeciak, MD, MPH, from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, NJ, who studies the scientific effects of compassion on patients, patient care, and those who care for patients. In addition, the 2022 Trauma Survivor session will take a new approach this year and focus on the story of a young pediatric patient and the systems of care that enabled a truly inspiring outcome.
Additional content includes a look at 100 years of trauma quality improvement through the Committee on Trauma, a close look at the importance of developing and defining a data element in a TQIP report, oral abstract sessions on registries and performance improvement, and more. Check out the conference agenda today to see all sessions.
Virtual conference registration includes access to the virtual meeting platform for viewing the ePoster Gallery and Exhibit Hall. All registrants, in-person and virtual, will have access to on-demand content starting in January 2023.
Register today! The registration fee will be waived for the first two employees enrolled from an Adult or Pediatric TQIP Center.
