Four new members have been elected to the ACS Foundation Board of Directors and subsequently approved by the ACS Board of Regents. They are:
Christopher Dodgion, MD, MSPH, MBA, FACS, associate professor of surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
Lillian S. Kao, MD, MS, MBA, FACS, professor and Jack H. Mayfield, MD, Chair in Surgery, director of the Division of Acute Care Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston
Lorrie A. Langdale, MD, FACS, professor of surgery in the University of Washington Department of Surgery and chief of general surgery and director of surgical critical care at the Puget Sound VA Medical Center in Seattle
Steven M. Roser, DMD, MD, FACS, DeLos Hill Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and chief of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta
These academic leaders bring deep expertise and a strong commitment to advancing surgical education and improving patient care. Their guidance will help further the ACS Foundation’s mission to support innovative programs and impactful initiatives across the surgical community.
