Abstract Submission Begins for 2023 Surgical Simulation Summit

The ACS Accredited Education Institutes (ACS-AEI) program is now accepting abstracts for the annual ACS Surgical Simulation Summit, March 2-4, 2023, in Chicago, IL. The submission period closes Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

Abstract opportunities have expanded to include presentations of research in simulation-based surgical education or implementation of innovative simulation-based surgical education methods. Categories include AEI Fellow, Innovation, Interprofessional Education (formerly Collaborative Works), MORE Track, Original Paper, and Team Wellness (a new category).

These abstracts will highlight the best simulation education and training research in the field. Anyone involved in simulation-based education or surgical simulation-based training is encouraged to submit an abstract for presentation.
