Symposium for Research in Surgical Palliative Care Topics Include Surgeon Attitudes, Code Status

The ACS invites all interested surgeons and members of surgical care teams to the virtual Symposium for Research in Surgical Palliative Care, which will include fast-paced presentations, real-time responses, and conversation—all centered on advancing care for seriously ill surgical patients.

This event, which takes place Thursday, May 8, 7:00–8:30 pm CT, brings together clinicians, researchers, and thought leaders committed to improving outcomes and experiences for patients and families. Kimberly Kopecky, MD, and Fabian M. Johnston, MD, FACS, will moderate the event.
