January 11, 2022

Dear SSR Participant,

Thank you for your continued participation in the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Surgeon Specific Registry™ (SSR). A very happy New Year to you!

New 2022: SSR Practice Improvement Initiative

There is still time to enroll in the SSR Practice Improvement Initiative (SSR PII) - Quality Case Data Review and Reflections allowing surgeons to obtain Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit. The SSR PII helps all surgeons to continually collect and review their quality case data, including outcomes data, identifying trends, gaps, and performance improvement opportunities. Surgeons will compare their individual data (SSR Benchmarking report) to aggregated SSR and NSQIP data real-time with the purpose of enhancing the quality of surgical care.
