The ACS, in collaboration with the Task Force for Children’s Surgical Care, developed standards to improve surgical care for children surgical patients. These standards have led the development of the Children’s Surgery Verification Program and are the nation’s first and only multispecialty standards for children’s surgical care.
The Children’s Surgery Verification Quality Improvement Program Application is available online.
Please note: Your center must meet all the standards and intend to actively pursue verification for the designation level sought prior to submitting an application.
To assist centers planning to apply, the application (PRQ) will be available as a PDF for each level below. The PRQ will assist centers in preparing appropriate documentation and information to ensure standards have been met prior to applying for verification.
