On July 13, ACS Cancer Programs partners with the American Cancer Society to bring you an impactful session on “The Role of Institutional Resilience in Mitigating Cancer Care Disruptions Due to Climate Driven Disasters.” Leticia Nogueria, PhD, MPH, and others will discuss opportunities to increase institutional resilience through coordinated information sharing and emergency preparedness efforts.
Also on July 13, Mediget Teshome, MD, FACS, and a panel of physicians will come together to present “Getting Synoptic Operative Reports Into Your Program through Stakeholder Engagement.” Speakers at this session will present the strengths of a multidisciplinary team approach to embedding synoptic operative reports and discuss strategies of communication, generating buy-in from partners, and implementation barriers and successes.
