Join the AESOP Pilot Study

March 19, 2025

In early 2027, the AESOP team will launch a special study that will focus on additional data collected by oncology data specialists from the medical records of patients included in their cancer registry who underwent cancer surgery at their facility.

In preparation for the special study, the CoC is seeking a varied group of CoC-accredited cancer programs to participate in a pilot study beginning in April 2026. Participating sites must abstract data for all patients selected and enter via the study submission form. Participants will need to attend webinars and provide feedback before, during, and after the pilot study.

If you are interested in participating in the AESOP Pilot, complete this interest form. Note that Veterans Affairs and pediatric cancer programs are not eligible for participation in the AESOP pilot or the special study.

Email AESOP@facs.org with any questions.
