Standardization of Colon Resection for Cancer: An Overview of CoC Standard 5.6

Authors from the ACS Cancer Surgery Standards Program (CSSP) have published a new editorial reviewing Commission on Cancer (CoC) Standard 5.6. This standard pertains to curative intent colon resections performed for cancer. Read Standardization of Colon Resection for Cancer: An Overview of the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer Standard 5.6 for more information on the rationale of Standard 5.6, technical components of the standard, and documentation requirements.
