Informational Webinar Outlines New CoC Rural Accreditation Category

March 19, 2025

The CoC is hosting an informational webinar at 11:00 am CT on March 24 for hospitals in rural counties, and we need your help in sharing this opportunity with your colleagues.

The CoC has developed a NEW accreditation path for hospitals located in rural counties, which offers the proven benefits of CoC accreditation in a package tailored for the unique aspects of taking care of cancer patients in a rural setting. Eligible hospitals must be located in counties designated 4-9 under the Rural-Urban Continuum Codes (RUCC).

In this 30-minute webinar, attendees will learn about:

  • The impact of CoC accreditation on patients with cancer
  • The importance of CoC accreditation for hospitals in rural areas
  • A new set of CoC accreditation requirements designed for hospitals in rural counties

Share this registration link with any colleagues providing care in rural counties who may be interested. Email CoC@facs.org with questions.
