Deadline Extended for Surgical Trainee Perspectives Survey

March 19, 2025

The deadline has been extended for the survey to assess surgical residents’ and fellows’ knowledge of CoC Operative Standards 5.3-5.8. These responses will help evaluate prior educational efforts and identify opportunities for resources to support the surgical community in implementing these standards. We anticipate this survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. All responses will be kept anonymous. The aggregated responses will be shared within the CSSP and the surgical community at large. The new deadline to submit your response is April 1.

New Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Marketing Tools Available

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
