National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers

Feedback Requested on NAPBC Standards

March 6, 2025

Now that programs have completed their first year under the new requirements in the Optimal Resources for Breast Care (2024 Standards), the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) is seeking your feedback in a survey. Please complete the survey by Friday, March 21.

During the process to unify the CoC and NAPBC, the NAPBC will be making changes to minimize the administrative burden of NAPBC accreditation going forward. Responses to this feedback survey will be considered as the standards are revised throughout the unification process.

Questions regarding this survey may be submitted to NAPBC@facs.org. Questions regarding standards interpretation should be submitted to the CAnswer Forum.

New Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Marketing Tools Available

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
