Join the NAPBC at 5:00 pm CT on March 5 for a 60-minute webinar: Modern Management of Breast Cancer During Pregnancy. Click here to register.
Presenters at this webinar will discuss how pregnancy-associated breast cancer is one of the most challenging scenarios encountered in breast cancer care, because health care professionals are making decisions that affect not just the life of a young patient, but also the growing fetus. The risks and benefits of each treatment modality must be discussed with the patient so that she fully understands and feels confident about the treatment decisions she and her physician are making (culturally appropriate decision making), whether this includes surgery while pregnant, systemic therapy, early delivery of the child, or terminating the pregnancy.
