Call for Committee Chair Applications

The Cancer Surgery Standards Program (CSSP) will be launching a new committee, the Standards Development Committee, which grew out of the Cancer Care Standards Development Committee of the ACS Cancer Research Program. The committee will reside under the CSSP and will have new goals.

Initial committee activities will include transitioning content from the Operative Standards for Cancer Surgery manuals to the ACS website, updating previously published Operative Standards for Cancer Surgery content, and developing new technical standards for disease sites not already completed.

We encourage individuals interested in the CSSP Standards Development Committee Chair position to submit his or her CV and a brief statement explaining how he or she could contribute to this role to Cancer Programs Senior Manager Amanda Francescatti (afrancescatti@facs.org) by February 6, 2023. Candidates will need to take part in a panel interview in mid-to-late February.
