Download World Cancer Day Resources

January 11, 2024

February 4 is World Cancer Day, an initiative of the Union for International Cancer Control that aims to significantly reduce illness and death caused by cancer by raising awareness and encouraging prevention, detection, and treatment.

The Commission on Cancer (CoC), National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC), and National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) encourage your site to recognize World Cancer Day. To help you promote this event within your program and the community, the CoC, NAPRC, and NAPBC have developed posters, social media and email signature graphics that can be downloaded from the Marketing Resources section in your site's Quality Portal (QPort).

New Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Marketing Tools Available

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
