Future-Forward Surgical Topics Dominate Quality and Safety Conference Program

Healthcare professionals dedicated to raising the bar on the quality of surgical care and patient safety are invited to attend the 2025 ACS Quality and Safety Conference, July 17–20 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, California. Registration is now open.

The Quality and Safety Conference is a multidisciplinary event where healthcare professionals from around the world come together to share best practices, discuss challenges, and develop strategies to enhance surgical patient care.

This year’s programming, organized around the conference theme of “Embracing Change and the Future of Quality,” will foster meaningful dialogue, connecting experts from diverse backgrounds to exchange insights on achieving high-quality care. Emerging and trending topics will be explored in this year’s plenary General Sessions:

  • The Future of Registry Concepts
  • The Future of Surgery: AI, Robotics, and Remote Care
  • The Future of Measurement and Reimbursement
  • The Future of the OR: A Collaborative Vision for Perioperative Advancements
  • Breaking Barriers: It Takes a Village to Shape the Future of Quality Patient Care.

This year’s Keynote Speaker is Jack Becker, a decorated US Navy fighter who will share his strategies for dramatically reducing errors, optimizing performance, and building a culture of continuous quality improvement.

The track-based agenda also includes a wealth of breakout sessions covering nine programs or topic areas:
