The Michael E. DeBakey Library & Museum, which chronicles the life of the pioneering heart surgeon, opened its doors 15 years ago at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Narrated by Dr. Kenneth Maddox, this video provides a glimpse of the vast and inspiring displays—from Dr. DeBakey’s operating room to a replica of the sewing machine he used to make the first Dacron graft, photographs, awards, manuscripts, and more.
