Trauma Teams Prepare for 2023 Meetings in Chicago, March 8–12

Members of the ACS Committee on Trauma (COT), as well as surgeons and trauma teams dedicated to raising the bar in trauma care in their institutions, are invited to register for the 2023 COT Annual Meeting and the Advanced Trauma Life Support® (ATLS®) Global Symposium, March 8–12 in Chicago, IL.

The COT Annual Meeting will take place Wednesday, March 8, to Friday, March 10, and provide updates on activities from the core areas of the COT, including the Advocacy, Quality, Injury Prevention, Systems, and Education Pillars, in addition to a trauma paper competition and networking opportunities.

The ATLS Global Symposium, Saturday, March 11, to Sunday, March 12, brings together trauma experts to teach and learn about advancement in ATLS courses and principles, which have been taught around the world to more than 1 million providers. Sessions will cover topics, including STOP THE BLEED global experiences, perspectives in trauma resuscitation, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and trauma-informed care, reports from international region chiefs, and more.
