The ACS Senior Fellows Society, established in 2025, recently elected its first leaders. Tyler G. Hughes, MD, FACS, will serve as the inaugural society Chair, and Joseph A. Corrado, MD, FACS, will be the inaugural Vice Chair.
In their roles, Drs. Hughes and Corrado will lead Society in its mission to serve as a program for senior and retired surgeons that allows continuous career-spanning engagement with ACS activities and helps foster bidirectional interactions across generations of surgeons.
