New Report Highlights 2026 Physician Salary and Employment Trends

ACS partner and member benefit provider, Resolve, just released its first annual Physician Salary and Employment Report. The report shares data and compensation insights sourced from more than 4,000 physician employment contracts in 116 different specialties and all 50 states.

Unlike most physician compensation reports, this report is derived from verified contracts, not survey responses. This reduces the potential for self-reporting bias and provides a contract-based view of fair market value for physician positions.

All 17 chapters of the report are free to access. Easily find the median salary for your surgical specialty and location, view the specialties that experienced fluctuations in year-over-year compensation, and even see how salaries differ by gender or practice type.
