ACS Fellows Helped Spread the Word about Colorectal Cancer Screening

April 4, 2023

Colorectal surgeons representing the ACS were part of a successful campaign to raise awareness about the importance of screening during Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month in March. 

Through a satellite media tour, Yi-Qian Nancy You, MD, MHSc, FACS, Roberto Rodriguez-Ruesga, MD, FACS, FASCRS, and V. Liana Tsikitis, MD, MCR, MBA, FACS, FASCRS, participated in video interviews that aired 723 times across a variety of news programs across the country.

The video segments had more than 25 million views, showing the impact that the ACS is having on cancer awareness in the US.
