We are inviting all US-based trainees from accredited residency and fellowship training programs to attend this special series of dynamic sessions focused on preparing for a career in surgery. This series is offered by the ACS Division of Education, ACS Division of Member Services, and the Resident and Associate Society (RAS), under the leadership of Program Chair Leigh A. Neumayer, MD, MS, FACS, MAMSE.
Sessions will take place throughout all 4 days of Clinical Congress and focus on the critical non-clinical skills needed to successfully transition from training to independent surgical practice. Expert-led presentations and interactive discussions will provide practical insights to support both professional growth and long-term career success. Program attendees will have opportunities to network with surgical residents and fellows from across the country, meet American College of Surgeons leaders, and learn about surgical career pathways.

The Surgery Resident Series will take place in person; you must be registered for Clinical Congress to attend. To attend the programming on Saturday, September 26, you must also register for the Surgery Resident Series – Day 1. This series is intended for current surgery residents and fellows from all surgical disciplines and there is no cost to register. Space is limited.
