To align with the American College of Surgeons (ACS) guidelines, ACS Trauma Education products are subject to a standardized annual price adjustment of 4%, effective each July. This structured approach, which began in 2025, establishes a consistent and predictable pricing model that supports the ongoing development, enhancement, and delivery of high-quality trauma education resources.
The annual adjustment will continue to be applied each year moving forward. For more information, email traumaedoperations@facs.org.

LMS pass only: ACS offers a learner fee that includes a PDF copy of the student manual as opposed to a printed version of the student manual, which eliminates shipping fees.
P&D agreements (international countries only): For our international programs offering ATLS, we offer a process to determine if an official Print & Distribution Agreement is right for your entity. A Print & Distribution Agreement is contractual agreement allowing the approved country entity to print the ATLS manual in their country for distribution to sites and learners. If the Print & Distribution Agreement is approved, an additional $10 discount would be extended to further decrease the course fee and offset printing costs for your program. Please note, this is only available for ATLS provider courses.
Payment plans (international countries only): In limited circumstances, the Trauma Education team can arrange a payment plan over a short period of time to ease financial challengers or burdens that may exist.
Hybrid courses: ATLS can be offered in a variety of formats. The Hybrid course allows for abbreviated in-person experience. The learners complete the traditionally didactic component of the course asynchronously. This allows for significant savings on operational costs such as space rental, faculty stipends, food and beverage, etc.
Bulk enrollments (only applies to electronic online courses): For electronic Disaster Management and Emergency Preparedness (eDMEP), Traumatic Brain Injury Guidelines Course (TBI), and Advanced Disaster Medical Response (ADMR), ACS offers a 5% and 10% discount if an institution purchases a large number of enrollments at one time.
Hardship Application: (To be announced)
Resident/Fellow/Med Student/ATCN Fee: The ACS offers a discounted rate for Residents, Fellows, Medical Students, and ATCN students. Lowering the price aligns with the ACS mission to make high-quality surgical education accessible to all, ensuring physicians and healthcare professionals in training can engage fully in their professional development.
