American College Of Surgeons - Inspiring Quality: Highest Standards, Better Outcomes

Quality and Safety Conference: Putting Our Patients First

Thank you very much for your attendance and participation at the 2019 ACS Quality and Safety Conference held in Washington, DC.

We hosted more than 2,100 attendees and offered 130 sessions over four days! Sessions included content from the many established ACS Quality Programs—including Cancer Programs, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP), ACS National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NSQIP®) and Children’s Surgery Verification.  We also unveiled the ACS Geriatric Surgery Verification (GSV) program and included tracks and sessions for those interested in quality improvement (QI) principles and tools. Thank you to all the speakers, moderators, and abstract presenters who helped make the conference happen.

A number of the presentations from this year’s conference are available on our website and others can be found in the password-protected resource portals for ACS quality program participants.

Thank you again for being part of such a wonderful conference experience.
