Achieving Quality: Present and Future
The ACS Quality and Safety Conference strives to
- Provide a professional forum to discuss and apply the most recent knowledge pertaining to national and local quality initiatives in the field of surgery.
- Present methods used to analyze ACS NSQIP (Adult and Pediatric) and MBSAQIP data and demonstrate practical ways to use the data for quality improvement.
- Assist hospitals in managing, analyzing, and interpreting data by providing education on proven methods that will empower hospitals and centers to make a positive impact at their facilities.
- Enhance the learning experience by offering breakout sessions that educate attendees on the topic areas of their choice and with consideration of their level of programmatic experience.
Call for Abstracts Is Closed
Deadline: February 20, 2017
Individuals at fully participating ACS NSQIP (Adult and Pediatric) and MBSAQIP sites were encouraged to submit an abstract for poster and/or podium presentation at the 2017 ACS Quality and Safety Conference. Abstracts should focus on research surrounding quality improvement initiatives and the development, implementation, or validation of best practices. Research should utilize programmatic data; however, we are also interested in operational best practices relating to utilization of the program, workflows, data, and reporting, etc.
Please note: Abstracts that have been submitted or recently presented at meetings are eligible for presentation at the conference. In the view of the Quality and Safety Conference, presentation of a paper at the conference does not prohibit the presentation or publication of the material elsewhere.
