Program Fees

What's Included in Annual Fee 

• Various networking opportunities, educational events, and tools to help a hospital continue to develop and/or improve their surgical quality infrastructure in between verification site visits
• Hospitals that achieve verified status will be recognized as an ACS Surgical Quality Partner (SQP) on the ACS website and will receive access to a comprehensive toolkit including logos and press releases to promote your hospital's status.

Quality Verification Program

• Access to all program materials and resources
• Access to ACS staff who will provide guidance on verification and site visit preparation, follow up, and next steps
• A virtual or in-person site visit conducted by a trained surgeon reviewer(s); the hospital may be asked to cover some travel expenses for site visits conducted in-person. The annual fee covers the cost of a site visit every three years. If additional site visits within a three-year period are required or requested, additional fees may apply.
• A detailed site visit report that outlines strengths, opportunities for improvement, and guidance for future quality program development

ACS NSQIP All Levels

• Database access
• SCR training and certification for one initial SCR**
• Clinical and technical support
• Online real-time support
• Interim and semi-annual risk-adjusted reports*
• ACS NSQIP Small and Rural eligibility: Sites that perform fewer than 1,680 cases/year or whose zip codes fall under Rural Urban Commuter Area (RUCA) data does 7.0 through 10.6

* Site must have complete 30-day follow-up for a minimum of 80 percent of cases within a SAR period to receive a report

** Additional SCR training can be purchased for replacement and/or backup SCRs for a one-time fee of $2,500 per person
