CoC Cancer Liaison Physicians Meeting

Please join us at 4:30 pm CT on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, for the next national meeting of the Commission on Cancer (CoC) Cancer Liaison Physicians (CLPs).

During the live meeting, a panel of CoC Site Reviewers will help you prepare for your next site visit, with a review of best practices, examples of QI initiatives, strategies for preparing for virtual visits, and tips for overcoming common challenges. In addition, we’ll discuss:

  • New resources to assist CLPs in their role as the physician quality leader of the Cancer Committee
  • Updates on the implementation of operative standards and synoptic operative reports
  • American Cancer Society resources to help your cancer program ramp up screening efforts in the wake of COVID-19

ACS Cancer Programs Conference: Quality Cancer Care in Motion VIRTUAL

April 27-28, 2021

Registration is now open for the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Cancer Programs Conference: Quality Cancer Care in Motion VIRTUAL. The conference will be delivered virtually over two consecutive days and will include a combination of pre-recorded and live presentations, audience response opportunities and live question and answer sessions. Registrants can choose to participate on the conference dates or access the content online following the conference for an extended period of time.

CLPs won’t want to miss sessions on the following topics:

  • Measuring and Improving Care (Standards 2.2, 7.1 and 7.3)
  • Fulfilling the Operative Standards and Synoptic and Pathology Reporting (Standard 5.3 – 5.8)
  • Overview of the new Rapid Cancer Reporting System (RCRS)
