Biography

Kaiser Sadiq, MBBS, earned his medical degree from JIPMER, one of India's premier medical schools. He was a practicing general physician in India before completing several clinical rotations in the US, as well as a research fellowship at UC San Diego. He is currently a preliminary general surgery resident at George Washington University and serves as research chair for the AAPI-MSRF, vice chair of the RAS-ACS Membership Workgroup, and co-lead for the ASE-SIMPL Surgical Education Research Seminar Series. He is also a member of the SAGES guidelines committee, SAGES Metabolic & Bariatric Committee, and ASE publications task force. He has authored several peer-reviewed articles and is seeking a categorical general surgery position to complete his training.
