Dr. Passant Ezz Abdelrahman, MBBCh (Cairo University, Egypt), MSc Global Health (University of Manchester, UK). I’m a senior Egyptian Ophthalmology resident, and currently an Advisory Council for Ophthalmic Surgery member by representing RAS (2023 - 2026). I am also a proud member of the Global Surgery (GS) Workgroup and Membership Workgroup. I am privileged to have been assigned as the RAS Egypt Chapter Representative, and to be alongside the respectable Egypt Chapter Leaders. I am here to make the voices of Ophthalmic Surgery residents from every single part of the world heard! I believe in the importance of advocacy, equity and the power of global networking and remote research and advancements!
