I am a Surgical Oncologist with a special interest in gastrointestinal, hepatopancreatobiliary, colorectal, breast, and minimally invasive cancer surgery. I currently practice at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi, India. I completed my MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi, MS in General Surgery from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi, and M.Ch. in Surgical Oncology from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, where I was a Gold Medalist. I am an ESMO Certified Oncologist and have completed fellowships in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, including FALS Oncology and FALS Robotic Surgery. I am also a Fellow of the Society of Surgical Oncology (FSSO). My clinical interests include complex gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatobiliary oncology, colorectal cancer surgery, breast and oncoplastic surgery, and robotic and laparoscopic approaches to cancer treatment. I have a particular interest in applying minimally invasive and robotic techniques to complex oncological procedures. I have been involved in the development and application of robotic techniques for complex cancer surgery, including pancreatic surgery using the Hugo™ robotic-assisted surgery system. My academic interests include robotic surgery, minimally invasive oncology, surgical innovation, surgical education, and evidence-based cancer care. I am actively involved in clinical research, academic activities, surgical education, and professional collaboration. Through my work, I aim to contribute to the advancement of surgical oncology and the responsible adoption of innovative technologies that can improve surgical outcomes and patient care.
