As an introduction, I am Dr Nashwan Q. Mahgoob, Professor and Consultant Surgeon and Laparoscopist supervisor. I have more than 30 years' experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in general surgery and in supervising postgraduate students preparing for FICMS (Iraqi Board) in General Surgery. My research interest covers the field of general surgery, particularly in relation to gastrointestinal diseases, laparoscopic procedures and bariatric surgery.
