Biography

Dr Scarci has been appointed as consultant thoracic surgeon at the Hammersmith Hospital in london. Previously he was a Consultant Thoracic Surgeon at University College London Hospitals NHS Trust, Papworth Hospital and Director of Thoracic Surgery in Monza, Italy. His specialist training took place in Italy, Malta, the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre and Guy’s and St Thomas’, London. Following a six-month fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the University of Toronto, Canada, Mr Scarci was appointed Consultant Thoracic Surgeon at Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridge. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including other distinguished surgeons, specialist nurses, radiologists and physicians, Mr Scarci is committed to providing a personalised service which ensures the best treatment and the best outcome for each patient. He welcomes enquiries about surgical and non-surgical treatments for a wide range of conditions, from chest wall deformities and fractured ribs to lung and chest wall cancers.
