Rebecca W. Schroll, MD FACS

Dr. Rebecca Schroll, MD, FACS, is a Consultant General and Trauma Surgeon at Auckland District Health Board in Auckland, New Zealand. She has a busy surgical practice which includes acute care surgery, trauma surgery, and elective general surgery, and sees patients at both Auckland City Hospital and Greenlane Surgical Center in Auckland. She is active in teaching trainees including medical students, house officers, registrars and fellows, and conducts research in trauma, emergency general surgery and surgical education. Dr. Schroll received her B.S. in Biology from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, USA and her M.D. from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. She subsequently completed General Surgery Residency at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA and Trauma/Critical Care Fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, and holds Specialist Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
