Biography

I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky General Surgery Residency (2018) and the Wake Forest School of Medicine Acute Care Surgery Fellowship (2020). I am currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Wake Forest School of Medicine within the Division of Acute Care Surgery and at Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine. My research interests include therapies for prevention of abdominal adhesions and the behavior of the endothelium during shock states. I have a strong clinical interest in ventral hernia repair and abdominal wall reconstruction. I am daily excited and grateful to work with and learn from colleagues and trainees within the rich academic atmosphere at Wake Forest School of Medicine.
