Dr. Lionel D. Meadows, FACS, FACOG, FAACS, is double board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS). He passed the ABCS rigorous oral and written exam in 2011 and has been selected to serve on their board of trustees. Dr. Meadows is the Physician & Medical Director at Meadows Surgical Arts, located in Commerce, GA and Buford, GA. He is also the Program Director of an American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Accredited Fellowship, and Founder of the Surgical Hope Foundation. Dr. Meadows received dual undergraduate degrees in Biology and Chemistry in 1990, and received his Doctorate of Medicine in 1994. He completed his residency 1998, and was board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in 2000. After practicing Obstetrics & Gynecology for more than a decade, Dr. Meadows went on to become more specialized in the field of cosmetic surgery. He trained with top surgeons in cutting-edge cosmetic procedures, and in 2009 he was invited to join a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship with world-renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Jim English. Following this fellowship, Dr. Meadows was board-certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS). In 2010, Dr. Meadows established Meadows Surgical Arts in Commerce, GA: a medical practice providing a welcome blend of cosmetic surgery, vein surgery, and gynecological care in a personal, private and inviting atmosphere. Dr. Meadows was quickly recognized in North Georgia for his patient care and excellent cosmetic outcomes, performing more than 10,000 cosmetic procedures. In 2014, Dr. Meadows expanded his thriving cosmetic practice by opening a second location in Buford, GA. Dr. Meadows and his wife, Kathryn, have chosen to give back to the community by establishing a non-profit foundation, the Surgical Hope Foundation. They reside in Northeast Georgia.
