Christopher Bailey, MD FACS

Dr. Bailey is from the Houston area. He is a board certified general surgeon by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He graduated with a B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, followed by medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and General Surgery Residency at the Greenville Hospital System - University of South Carolina School of Medicine. As a staff General Surgeon in the United States Navy, he spent time in Okinawa, Japan; Bremerton, Washington; and Afghanistan. He was honorably discharged in July 2015. In the civilian sector, his primary practice is with Austin Regional Clinic taking call at Seton Main with clinics in North and South Austin, Texas. His special interests include robotic surgery, minimally invasive procedures, endoscopy, trauma, acute and critical care as well as teaching. Hobbies are many but he especially enjoys spending time with family and friends, outdoor sports and barbecue.
