I truly enjoy my private practice setting with the ability to teach the field of surgery to both surgical residents and physician assistant students. Clinically I have passion for the diversity of general surgery.I helped develop the Wisconsin state trauma plan many years ago as well as starting an ACS verified Level 2 trauma center in my community over 20 years ago. In conjunction with my partner we developed one of the first verified Center of Excellence sites for bariatric surgery in the United States. These interests in combination with the common general surgical procedures has led to a rewarding career.
