Biography

Dr. Senthil is a Surgical Oncologist who treats patient with advanced GI malignancies, specifically cancers that have spread to the lining of the abdomen ( peritoneum). She perform a procedure called cytoreductive surgery with Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) to treat this condition. Dr. Senthil has extensive research interest in liquid biopsy (novel blood based biomarkers) to detect peritoneal carcinomatosis. She leads and participates in several clinical trials to treat advanced cancers.
