She pursued her dream of becoming a doctor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. A member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Aesthetic Society, and the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, she is a contributing voice in mentoring young plastic surgeons. She is the Chair of the Women’s Plastic Surgery committee of the ASPS. A role model, she also served as Chair of ASPS Ethics Committee.
