Dr. Huggins practiced general and vascular surgery for 28 years with a particular interest in minimally invasive surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic, procedures for the treatment of diseases of the breast, gallbladder, colon and rectum, other GI tract, hernias, skin lesions and cancers, including melanoma, thyroid and parathyroid, peripheral arteries including carotid and lower extremity, and veins, including endovenous radiofrequency venous closure and stab phlebectomy for varicose veins and sclerotherapy for spider veins. He is retired from active practice. He is establishing a physician advocacy service where he can assist patients and their families in understanding and navigating the spectrum of healthcare and healthcare planning.
