Biography

Dr. Daley practices the broad spectrum of General Surgery with half of his practice devoted to Trauma and Critical Care. In addition, Dr. Daley has specialized training in Critical Care Nutrition and serves in this capacity for his hospital, and conducts basic science research focusing on ameliorating the inflammatory response to injury and/or infection. Dr. Daley continues to publish widely on a variety of topics concerning surgery, trauma care, nutrition and education. He is a Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center at Knoxville and is a recovering Program Director in Surgery.
