Scot Bradley Glasberg, MD FACS

Dr. Glasberg is certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is the former Director of Plastic Surgical Education at the State University of New York Health Sciences Center, where he supervised the training of future young plastic surgeons. He currently holds the title of Associate Chief of Plastic Surgery at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Glasberg holds numerous positions within national, regional and local medical and specialty societies. He is a Past President on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has also served as its Vice President of Finance/Treasurer and Vice President of Advocacy and Health Policy. Dr. Glasberg also currently serves on the Board of Governors of the American College of Surgeons, as Past President on the Executive Committee of the New York County Medical Society and as a Past President of the New York State Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Glasberg is a Past President of the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons and currently serves on its Board of Trustees. He has also represented the American Medical Association in official capacities. Dr. Glasberg travels to Washington, D.C. and Albany several times each year to speak about many healthcare and medicolegal issues. He has testified before Congressional committees and before panels of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In September of 2018, Dr, Glasberg was awarded the Distinguished Service Award of the Plastic Surgery Foundation, its highest honor. In November 2008, Dr. Glasberg was awarded the prestigious President’s Award of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons for his work within the society and the specialty.
