Biography

Dr. Rona Silkiss specializes in Ophthalmic Plastic Reconstructive and Orbital Surgery. Her practice focuses on delivering excellent, aesthetic and compassionate care to patients with both cosmetic and functional concerns regarding the soft tissues around the eyes and forehead. She has a special interest in cosmetic rejuvenation, thyroid eye disease, droopy eyelids and other eyelid malpositions (ectropion, entropion, ptosis) tear duct blockages, orbital and eyelid tumors and orbital fractures. Dr. Silkiss performs complex eyelid reconstructive procedures after Moh's surgery and trauma. Additonally, Dr. Silkiss takes special interest in pediatric ophthalmic plastic surgery as she is Board certified in both Ophthalmology and Pediatrics.
